The National Seal Sanctuary

Set in 40 acres on the beautiful Helford estuary, the National Seal Sanctuary rescues over 40 seal pups a year, providing refuge for those seals/sea lions unable to be returned to the wild. With many exciting areas to explore, the Sanctuary has something for everyone. The Seal Rescue Academy allows you to not only learn about seal rescue, you can become a rescue volunteer yourself. Learn how to tube feed a pup and take its temperature. Don’t worry though, our special ‘plastic’ pups don’t bite. The real seals can be viewed at their most graceful in the underwater viewing observatories. Discover playful Otters in the woodland walk and a whole host of marine life in the Cornish Coast experience. Daily talks and feeding presentations make this a day out for the whole family.

Goonhilly

Based in Cornwall, and with over 60 dishes on site, Goonhilly is the largest satellite earth station in the world. Able to transmit to every corner of the globe. From the history & heritage of 'Cold War' technology, to the amazing Apple iphone, discover a wide variety of fun and interactive displays for all ages. With both indoor and outdoor activities, exclusive tours and our iconic dishes, Goonhilly is the ideal place for all the family.

Country Skittles

Country Skittles is a great fun experience whether for a family get-together or a night out with friends. It has everything you need to have a really good time. There are 4 automated skittle alleys, a restaurant with delicious home cooked food, lots of great games, a shooting gallery, crazy golf, pool and video games. There is also a well-stocked bar to quench your thirst after all your activity! Highly recommended.

Paradise Park

Paradise Park is a perfect choice for your day out, with beautiful birds and gorgeous gardens, plus plant shop, gift shop and cafe.
The award-winning sanctuary is home to many exotic birds, otters, red pandas and friendly farm animals. Daily events give opportunities to see free-flying birds and get up close with penguins, otters, lorikeets and cockatoos.
Kids love the big ‘JungleBarn’ indoor play centre, and now new ‘Paradise Island’ outdoor play too.
